I just had the most fun making my own bias tape,(without a maker) I used it for a cobbler apron from a vintage pattern. With a maker the work would be faster and more precise. I found the video from Angry Chicken to be a life saver on how to sew the bias tape. Luckily I found the video before I had finished the apron.
