Thanks guys! taja, I encourage you to use those fabric scraps! It is easy to sneak them in on projects instead of using new fabric. Or as appliques and embellishments. :)

Thanks gran05! At this point I have no plans to make a tutorial based on time constraints and a busy schedule. However, it might be a project for next summer... So glad you like it :)

I had to keep a graded sketchbook for an art class and it was one of the best things I have ever done to boost my creativity!

It is also a great place to tape in things that inspire you, write down thoughts, and document how you did something and whether or not it worked, etc.

I bet you could paint the hoops before adding the felt for an extra pop of color.

This basically defines me life, lol. I always go above and beyond when I craft or create art. That is why my friends lovingly call me a masochist... :)

That is such a good idea! I can't tell you how many projects I've had to trash because I forgot which hook I was using.

The striped fabric on the second pillow from the back looks very familiar... I think I have some samples of that same fabric in a ton of different colors. One of my Professor's daughters used to work at Donghia, and she had a huge collection of discontinued fabric samples that the store was going to throw away. My Professor wanted them out of her house, so she gave them to me! I actually used many of them for the tote bag challenge :D

Anyway, the pillows are cute! And I can just imagine all the nice textures.

Jen, I moved to Ohio for school and when I pointed to my hand to show where I came from, they gave me the strangest looks... People either have no idea what I'm talking about, or they think it is the coolest thing in the world and make me do it all the time! :)

I have used my own variation on that pattern and they turn out adorable every time!

I did something similar this week for a larger button pattern. I set out all 100 or so buttons and then put a big piece of contact paper over them. From there I have been lining up the contact paper, peeling off one button at a time and sewing them on. But your way sound MUCH easier!

Actually, some grocery stores in the US are starting to charge for bags, or at least give you a small discount for bringing your own bags.

If I understand this correctly, I just need to "enter" pictures of my bag and not the actual thing. I am just making sure I won't have to give up my bag, because I don't think I will be able to part with it!
