Im a seed bead lover obsessed with beadweaving of all kinds. While being a stay at home mom, I use my free time to create jewelry and other beaded artwork, as well as blogging and writing tutorials about beading.

I was first introduced to beadwork as a child when my mother took up bead embroidery as a hobby. Over the last two years, I have taken up off-loom weaving and jewelry design.
My favorite stitches are spiral rope and St. Petersburg chain.

Re: How to Make a Reversible Swiffer Sock

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this!

I really don't like products such as Swiffer, that encourage us to waste more, consume more, and pollute more just to be 'clean'. I like to get down on my hands and knees and scrub the floor!

This is such a sensible alternative for anyone who owns a Swiffer. Thank you for setting such a great example for us all!

Re: How to Recycle Magazines into Jewelry

What a great idea! Any magazines that come my way get obliterated after I've clipped out any jewelry, fashion or color scheme photos for my inspiration book. This is a great way to use up the pages that are left!

Re: An Inspiring Array of Jewelry Displays

What a great collection of ideas! This is great not only for jewelry hoarders, but sellers as well. I'm always on the look out for new ways to display my wares at craft fairs and home parties. This gave me some great food for thought.

Thanks for sharing!

Re: 'Scrubby' Wreath

Neat idea!

Re: The CraftStylish Caption Contest: Knitwear Comes Back to Haunt Us

"The Slasher family was very closely-knit..."

Or

"The family that slays together, stays together"

PS: I think the creepiest thing about this photo is the boy with his finger in the pie, as if to say "We're coming for your pastries!"

Re: Pendants With Swarvoski Crystals

These are gorgeous! I LOVE the bees. Your work is very creative and OOAK!

Thanks Cookie! I managed to wear it for a whole day without having my baby strangle me, too!
