Have loved sewing and class-act crafts since learning as a girl. Now retired with some space and time to call my own, try to have at least one project on the go at the same time. Love pets and camping. Embroidery is very portable and I've spent much time with it at a picnic table. Not in the need for clothing so much any more, but still love home decorating touches and have them in every room. I sew for the love of the craft and freedom of creativity. Recently learned crazy quilting and I'm "crazy" about it!!

As a brand-new member myself, yours is the first profile (correct word??) I've looked at. WOW!! I just love the dress. Doesn't she look spectacular in your work!! No wonder you were excited at the thought of it's being shown off at such an event. Pillows.............. don't even get me started on pillows!! One of my all-time favourite things to make: pillows and pillow-covers. I frequently have "seasonal" covers on the go just so I can change them out according to the season and whatever colour I want to showcase in my little living room. There's so much to see on this website! I'll have to limit my time so as not to take away from my sewing machine!
