I love being green and I love getting creative and crafty. I have seen some of the best ideas here. i am a single mother of 3. my oldest is married and gone from home but i have an 8yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl. They are so much fun. like me the kids all like to do crafts. we have our garden started this year and I will be adding more to it this week. I am very good at looking at something and figuring out how to make it. Or if you give me an item i can generaly come up with a new use for it. I have been sewing since I was 8 yrs old I am now in my 40s. My grandmother taught me and so has my mother. In high school i made a lot of my clothes. i also have made some great doll clothes in the past. my 6yrDD has a cute tinker bell doll that i will be making matching fairy dresses with wings for the two of them this summer. I will also be getting my sons room decorated. I have some great fabric for curtains and bedding. Lets Get ready to craft our socks off!!!!!! Oh I found this awesome box today at goodwill, all it needs are some great purse handles! It is a L.A.M.B. fragrance box. I paid .99 for it! I can hardly wait to get it made.

Re: double eco-friendly cloth pads

before my hystorectomy I used my cloth pads for years! I had many different styles, lengths & thicknesses. I always used cotton fabric scraps. sometimes my fillers would be old worn out wash clothes. I had some with snaps to fit around the panties and then some of those had elastics at either end to hold an extra layer for heavier days. i washed these in hot water most of the time and added oxy clean. I would recomend these money savers to anyone.
