I am 25 years old and recently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting. I am particularly fond of watercolor, and I like to create "sculptures" with cut-out shapes of paper that I have stained with paint and then stitch them or glue them together. I am very inspired by my experiences with nature and the memories of those experiences and what they transform into as time goes on as well as interpreting remembered imagery into an abstracted organic form. I also love figure painting as well as conceptual photography.

I am an intermediate crochet student and I am so fascinated by the fact that I can create almost anything I want with my own two hands and some yarn and a crochet hook! Besides crochet, I simply enjoy making whimsical, innovative, charming things from whatever I can pull out of my "art" closets...that's right, I have three of them jam-packed with fun stuff. But I'm sure that some of you ladies (and men) have amassed a much larger collection of materials to choose from!

I love crafts as well as fine art making and I really look forward to all of the unique tutorials that are shared within this community, especially sewing and jewelry making, which are both pretty new to me. I also hope to share some of my own ideas with you all.
