Thanks sew much for another terrific idea!!!! Now to make time to sew it up.....I love clutches, purses, and bags of all sorts. This looks very doable and another opportunity to use up some of my large stash and even make up a couple of gifts too!! Thanks again!
I love new ideas and would enjoy learning what this book has to offer!! I'm teaching my grandson and others crafts and sewing and this book would be a terrific tool and I'm sure my students will want to purchase their own copy!
Wow!!!...It is hard to decide which is my favorite...they are all so well designed and sewn! But since I can only pick one I will choose Lauraleeva's Fun Spring Dress. I love the blouse with the bow,the print on the skirt along with fullness. The sash ties it all together quite nicely. Making the outfit as one piece is very clever. Well done!!!
Another project I will have to do and your instructions are clear and very easy to follow! Have you ever machine embroidered around any of your designs on other t's or dresses? Thanks for another great project.
I love this design!!! I will without a doubt make this skirt enjoying every moment. The interesting thing is that I have made a band with a scalloped edge for a plain blanket to add a little pazzaz. I was not able to give the edge a nice smooth finish. I will follow the method to finish the edge described above which I'm sure will do the trick. Thank you for sharing this design and method for this wonderful skirt!!!!
Thank you....Thank you...and Thank you!!! You have given me a solution for displaying some of my products at shows and at home. I create pet clothing and accessories and have been searching for a way to show them off. (collars, scarves, etc.).Plus another board for the sewing room. Again Thanks!!
What a terrific idea for my home and a friends'! I 'm always looking for gift ideas that are unique and the vase really fills that bill. Thanks!!!
I would LOVE to own this awesome book !!!!!!
WOW....what a great idea!!! I can't wait to try it with my grandson on a rainy day at the cottage [I'll have to hide the newspaper from my husband who uses it for starting campfires]. Thanks for another project!!!
How adorable!!! I have a black patent leather purse that is crying for something pretty and eye catching! Great idea! Thanks
Sounds like the purrfect book for me!!!!
I wish there where more hours in the day so I could do every single idea that I see on this site!...but since there isn't I will have to be selective and this will definitly be one of those projects!! Thanks so much for the ideas and great instructions!
How do you come up with such terrific ideas?!! I will definitly do this quilt !....Thanks
How cute!!! I was out shopping last night and picked up an inexspensive tank top for the summer.....I'll use your idea creating something unique while using some of my buttons that I don't have a large number of. Thanks!!!
Kathy Cano-Murillo's book Crafty Chica's Guide to Artful Sewing sounds like the perfect book I need to help with inspiration and practical uses for fabrics and notions from my stash and remnant boxes. It seems like Kathy had a lot of fun putting this book together and I would love to share this with her!
Linda...I am a button fanatic and have been looking for something different to create even more buttons so you have filled that need!!! Using other buttons to imprint the clay is a terrific idea that gives you so many more options along with mixing colors..I can't wait to get started!! Thanks
HI...Love the look!! Many of the techniques I have used in different projects and forgotten about....I will definitly try the buttons on the side plus use the triple zigzag tac and look for the Simflex Ruler. I also have the Steam a seam on hand and will make use of it. It's funny that you have these items on hand and forget how useful they can be! Thanks for the ideas!!
Buttons are a passionate subject for me. I have been collecting them for many years and have soooo many that I have organized them into divided craft boxes ( embroidery floss containers) and those little round stacking containers so I can find exactly what I want when I want it! This book would certainly give me more ideas on what I can use these buttons for. Besides if I use the buttons I have on hand then I will have a reason to purchase more or make some!!!
