Heya HempNecklaceStore - the fiber beads are either a love them or hate them kind of thing, I've found. Those ones maybe just didn't come across well in the photos, but it takes all kinds of beads. :) I'm a big fan of the silver beads, I just wish bali beads weren't so expensive - hopefully silver prices drop before I go to another bead show.

posted: 12:34 pm on May 1stA general rule of thumb that I use for the male necklaces is to start with a base of 48 lb hemp if I can, even if I'll be knotting with 20 lb hemp overtop of it. This gives it a thicker look to begin with. Of course I do tend to use 48 or 100 lb hemp normally. For beads I get red, black, and green gemstones. Hemp colors are usually in the neutral and earthtones shades. Hope that helps, and if you'd like to talk hemp shop some more feel free to email me at tiffany@phathemp.com
