Hello everyone,
I am a self-taught artist working in multi-media. I am also an avid reader. I love designing my own clothes as well as those for my 2 grown daughters and 2 grown grandsons. I sew, embroider, cross-stitch, crochet, make jewelry and have tried my hand at quilting and needlepoint. I am a recycler and therefore, have become very adept at repairing and mending. I save plastic, metals and carboard/paper to use in my 3D collage work.
Most of all I love making gifts. I thoroughly enjoy doing crafts with a small group of children. My dream is to create a non-profit organization that makes clothes and toys for the children that are orphans and refugees as a result of the fighting in the Congo and in Darfur. Would love to hear from any one who is interested in helping. Our scraps are big enough to make a wardrobe for a two-year old or a small stuffed toy.

I have been thinking of making spiral scarves for my daughter plus copying a ready to wear blouse with a jabot. I was fairly sure it was done with a circle. Thanks for the confirmation and instructions. Your work is truly beautiful and gives me many ideas. You are an inspiration to many.
