Re: How to Make an Artful Scarf from Scraps

The trick to keeping the scarf light is to use lighter fabrics, and not heavy fabrics. Also it's best if your fabrics look good on the back as well as on the right side, so whichever way the folds of the scarf fall when you wear it, it will still look just as good. Thanks so much for posting this! These scarves are so much fun to make and no two will ever be the same!

Re: Magazine Reed Box

I especially appreciate how you have used reeds in complimentary colors for your project...showing more creativity than had you just used any old colors of reeds you had made.
Now having a large amount of reeds which I've made for my own creative use, I have started looking for pages in magazines that are especially conducive to making reeds in pretty colors rather than making reeds out of just any pages.

Re: It's Crazy What You Can Do With Rope and Fabric!

This looks like so much fun to make. I have the book and want to try doing it soon. Thanks for your great inspiration.

Re: Hand DYed Laces

These are beautiful....inspiring me to want to use them to create something wonderful.

Re: Crafts that Sell

I love it!

Re: The Make It Pink Challenge

I wish this was an ongoing challenge....what could be more motivating? Pink is such a beautiful color and this is the best reason for creating with pink. Any chance the challenge will be repeated? I just posted a pink slash jacket and would have loved to post it in this section.

Re: Pink Christmas! Collage Frame

This is adorable! It would make a very special gift.

Re: Magazine Collage Figures

I think collages made from magazines are the most interesting form of artwork there is. There are so many beautiful colors and textures to be salvaged from magazines before you throw them away. If you use the glossy paper in place of paint to do your artwork, you save valuable resources and make use of something that would have ended up in a landfill. It is a win-win situation! I have my collage artwork at ecollage.etsy.com.
