Re: Project Runway: What's Mine is Yours
What is it with the ageism? I'm in my fifties, but not unfashionable or dead yet! I liked the winning outfit, but I couldn't believe they considered it a dress. Great nightie, but I wouldn't wear it in public. I know fashion is supposed to be a bit risky, but how can the average woman, young or old, be expected to wear such skimpy gear? Maybe I am getting too old. I liked Casanova's look for once.

Miss Gretchen made me absolutely sick! She couldn't make up her mind about anything except that it wasn't her fault. She so embarassed herself and all the others.

I loved the hats, very artistic, but so over the top that I doubt Lady GaGa would actually wear one! I thought the 'Orchid Hat' needed a much simplier dress. Maybe pick-up the lime green color, something simple and straight like a stem with a leafy neckline. Just way too much hat!

All the way for meganc! Great choice of fabric and simple pattern. Also, very useful these days. Good Luck,Carole

I'm visiting my sister this summer, who lives in a small town in WI. We enjoy 'thrifty' shopping together, there many needlecrafters in her area, which makes for great rummage sales! Lots of 'vintage' handmade lace and embroideries. Great crazy-quilting material. Should be fun and it's always great to spend time with my big sis.Carole
