Re: What are your summer sewing plans?

Good afternoon!
I have this lovely floral sheer chiffon-type fabric which I'll line with ivory crepe into a tunic top (Stich 'n Save #M5911).

Then I ordered a 1944 dress pattern from Etsy. It's a shirtwaist dress with detailed scallops on the center front, and scallops on the sleeve cuff and collar - very cute. I bought navy blue with white polka dots (cotton/poly blend) for the dress. I am intimidated by this pattern, and if I haven't ever sewed before it would be daunting. I'll measure fiercly each pattern piece to make sure it matches my measurements.

Also, I bought Click 'n Sew CD so I can enter my exact measurements so I can print out my own patterns so the clothes fit! I'm also thinking of getting the Lutterloh system from Germany.

Thanks for listening! I'll post successes, mistakes, difficulties, etc. when done!
