Around the age of 7, I became interested in paper crafts, book scrapping, making paper dolls. It's one of my favorite things to do. I picked this up from my mom.
Around the age of 9 or 10, I learned how to crochet. My aunt made a baby blanket for my baby sister and I was amazed with what you could do with a long (super long) piece of string! I learned how to do a chain and single crochet and I was off!
About 6 years ago I started to teach myself how to knit from a book my boyfriend (now husband) bought me. I love the look and feel of knitted fabric. So beautiful.
All these things, and more, I do to this day. I love crafting. I love making jewelry. I love working with polymer clay and I love photography. (Did I forget to mention that? I photograph everything. Someday my memory is going to fade and I will need my photos to look back and remember who I was, what I was and why I was, this crafty silly person)

Re: Book Giveaway - Craft Challenge: Dozens of Ways to Repurpose a Pillowcase
Oooh, nice! I have been eyeing that book from the moment I first saw it! I love pillow cases. I have many I want to turn into dresses for my daughter before she grows up and acquires her own style. I'll have to buy it if I don't win it but then again, its supporting a fellow craftster so it's all good! *crosses fingers and toes*
