I live in a small town in North West Washington. I have been tatting since 1979 and in 2006 I learned the basics of knitting. My shuttles keep begging me to pick them up but the needles win. I want to be able to knit socks.
I also love working in my garden. This past summer I added 81 new plants to what was a weed filled side yard. I love water features in my garden. I also love to sit on my front porch and look at Mt. Baker or the beautiful old high school across the street or chat with a friend while I knit or tat.
I enjoy finding used items to add whimsy to my garden.
Since I work full time I don't have time to join any knitting groups but I did take some classes.
I am in the 45 to 55 age group and I have a twin sister and 4 other sisters and two brothers.
