The Origami Dress, although intricate, just did not grab me. The artful use of the stripes, and the superb fit of the Blue Dress is a showpiece of technical mastery. I think I would have preferred regular straps to lingerie straps myself. A stunning dress.
I have to admit that I am a fan of feminine dresses. The creative use of the embroidery and the edging on the fabric just blew me away. It takes a lot of planning and careful placement to put motifs together in such a unified, balanced way. The use of varigated thread was inspiring. The dress was well crafted, and well finished. It was a hard decision.
I had to go with the butterflies.
