UnfinishedProjects

I love to sew, and I also love to write! I started a blog called "The Unfinished Project Party" which is based on the idea that we, as busy women, still need a creative outlet, despite our hectic schedules. It’s time to carve out four hours a month just for you—four hours where you can push the pause button on work, take a break from Mommyville, and grant yourself an afternoon full of fun, fabric and friends at an Unfinished Project Party!

The first Unfinished Project Party started when I realized that I was guilty of being a “Serial Project Starter,” but not a “Project Finisher.” I had several sewing projects that I needed to complete, but never had the time to finish them. So I invited a few girlfriends over one Saturday and we spent the entire afternoon working on our projects. And guess what? I got all of my projects done and had a great time doing it! Thus, the Unfinished Project Party was born. Now once a month, I invite all of my girlfriends over to work on their unfinished projects, and I encourage you to do the same! Check out my blog at www.unfinishedprojectparty.com. I often feature projects from women just like you!

VintagePolka Dot "Dinner" Dress

I finally finished the black and white polka dot vintage “dinner” dress! It is not quite fancy enough for evening wear since the fabric is a cotton polka dot, but definitely fancy enough...
