I love to knit more than anything, although I dabble in many other crafts. I always have several knitting projects going at once--one for charity, one to take to the Thursday night craft group held at Taunton Press where I work, one that requires counting and total concentration (and thus silence while I knit), and one that I can knit while watching TV or chatting with my husband. During the spring and summer I spend time knitting or doing other crafts on our deck enjoying the gardens while they’re in bloom!

Raspberries and Strawberries helped make my holiday centerpiece

Cupcakes and candles, plus lots of berries added to this holiday dessert.

Baby Blanket and Hat

I made this blanket and hat to sell at my church's annual Holiday Bazaar.

Warm and Comfy Afghan

I made this afghan for my daughter and her new husband. They chose the pattern and the yarn to coordinate with their living room decor.

Re: How to Make a Mosaic with Your Old Plastic

I love this project Kayte. Now I'm bummed that I just threw out an old AAA travel card. Maybe this will motivate me to clean out my wallet!!

Thanks.

Re: Pink Baby Blanket

Thanks so much for the kudos! You were an excellent student possessing the natural ability to work your knitting needles without feeling the slightest bit awkward or clumsy.

The sky's the limit for you, Lucia!!
