The Ultimate Sewing Room contest entry

I can't wait to try this one out. I hope to be able to have it done for this fall. Believe me, I will post pictures when I am done. This is a beautiful piece and for those cool morning and cool buildings, it will work perfect in my closet. If it is as simple as it looks, I will have several in different colors and might make some for some of my fellow teachers for Christmas.

I have been sewing for years, but never felt comfortable with making my own patterns or altering them, other than adding pockets, until now. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I do plan on coming back to this one from time to time. It was so detailed; I really appreciated that.
