It would never occur to me to hate valentine's day. I sent valentines to my Mom and Grandbaby - what's to hate about showing love to those you care about? I do think your card would be wonderful to send to someone having a hard time with a loss in their life - such as when as loved one has passed. I will keep it in mind for that and think it will be helpful to such a person to give them permission to grieve.
