I do all kinds of crafts, right now I am going into portrait drawing. I also make funny cards using people's picture in the card, I crochet for the premi babies at the hospital and for shower gifts, and this last Christmas gave my grandchildren an afghan as a family gift.(8 of them)surprised to hear how much they liked this gift. The afghans were all different and in the colors of their living rooms.
I have also started writing a children's book, this is a lot of fun, and you have to be creative in your thinking and sometimes this does not happen and you have to stop a while until it comes back.
I will try any craft that is within my income, and I love doing this, althought some are just too expensive, so, I try to make it in a cheaper material, and if that doesn't work out, back to the drawing board. :-)

Re: The Importance of Blocking: A How To
this is a very good idea especially when making afghans that are squares and circles. I made this afghan recently, and if the squares are not exactly right, it throws the whole afghan off.

I think this cartigan fits rather well considering my long neck and all, don't you?
