I am a self taught seamstress and spend my free time currently creating historical and fantasy costumes. I have a degree in History and I'm working on my Masters in History focusing on the History of Clothing. I've made a regional name for myself as KimonoGirl since I create Kimonos that American Women can wear. I'm also learning how to make Loli styles and I am already quite adept at create most any historical style of clothing especially Medieval and 19th century. I don't use patterns and design from line drawings and images. My current sewing room is shared with my 15 year old step-daughter when she visits so its cramped, but it has what I need. If I truly had a dream sewing room it would have excellent storage space for all my fabric with easy access.
