My best friend is also a 25 year old Bernina 930! What a coincidence. I would love to have a new Bernina that does fancy stuff but my 930 does a great job for quilting and garment construction. I did buy an inexpensive Janome serger since I finish all my seams anyway. It is okay. I am still learning how to use it. I just can't justify spending 4 or 5 thousand on a new Bernina. But, if I ever have an extra 4 or 5 thousand I just might get me one. I would never get rid of my 930 it is my best friend.
