Re: Fabric Glossary - Home Dec Fabrics
FYI...As a professional interior designer I have to tell everyone that all home dec fabrics should NOT be laundered especially after you have made them up. They are meant to be vacuumed for cleaning. They will shrink and shred and ruin all your work. Pre-shrinking may help with this but it usually leaves you with a limp piece of yardage and removes all finishes. Just because they are cotton does not mean that they should be laundered to keep your project looking its best.
