I somewhat agree about Gretchen's. I think it needed more shape on top, and that weird front panel just did not help it out. What a terrible color.

Mondo was a good choice for winner, but WHY was Christopher not in the top 3??? He was my pick for winner! I loved his look, but maybe it's just my taste.

I don't know about Ivy going home this week. I actually think she should have gone home long ago, but based on this week's design, I would have picked Valerie. I love Valerie though, so I'm alright with her staying :) The back of Ivy's was beautiful! But, I agree that she should have added some sort of neutral to break it up. They should not in any world have sent her home for craftsmanship. She's proven herself there, so I think if that was even part of the reason they sent her home, that was a terrible decision.

I think Jason and Ivy should have been sent home without question. I was very surprised they kept both of them. I was shocked at Casanova's, but intrigued also. I am very interested to see what he does with more time, and am glad they kept him. McKell should not have been sent home. Even Tim said it! The fit was wrong, ok, but come on! 5 hours and you expect fit to be perfect? It was so cute, although maybe getting a bit old, it was not in bad taste or out of style. The styling is something else entirely, and that's something she can learn.

I loved Gretchen's dress (a bit simple but stunning), but also think Andy could have won, considering the number of pieces he created and his style which the judges seem to be generally fond of.

Seriously! How incredibly boring most of these looks were! I also think Amy & Jesus should have been in the top- both of their looks were great! I was very surprised, especially considering Heidi's love affair with harem pants... Glad Ping went home, it was time, I just wish they had showed us more of the outfit. I didn't enjoy the winning look, but it's just not my taste at all.

I totally agree that this season has been a bit disappointing. I also totally agree about Gordana/Althea. Although Althea brings a fairly unique perspective, I think she gets way too much credit. Her designs have seemed very poorly constructed throughout the show. I do agree with the judges that her ambition is great, but I also think she needed to show up with some better construction (plus her designs are just not my taste at all!). I think that Gordana should have been top 3 and not Althea. Easy. Even when Gordana was in the bottom 3 I did not agree with it.

Also, I said it before, but they totally got it wrong this season. The top three should have been Ra'mon, Epperson, and either Shirin or Irina. I just can't believe they sent those three home so early. What does everyone else think about that?

Oh yeah- AND I totally saw the connection between Carol Hannah's dress and her inspiration! The braiding, draped piece and the bottom, and the "bedskirt"-type chiffon at the bottom were totally en pointe! What were the judges thinking? How can you not see that?

I loved Carol Hannah's. In my opinion, she definitely should have won this challenge. I really did not enjoy Althea's original creation or the one that followed! She is not my favorite designer, and I really don't understand why the judges like her so much. She is unique, though, so I'll give her credit for that! Maybe it's just not my taste...

I also like Gordana's suit quite a lot! I thought it was totally cute, so I was disappointed at the judges reaction :( This whole season has been really weird for me- I thought three of their earlier eliminations were ridiculous - Ra'mon, Epperson, and Shirin were my top 3 picks, and I thought none of them deserved to go home so early! What a disappointing season. All I can do now is pull for Carol Hannah or maybe Irina despite her ridiculous attitude that really has nothing to do with the contest anyway...
