She has studied illustration at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
She stumbled onto Chinese Brush Painting while studying Madarin in college and fell in love with the style on a trip to China.
Bleeding ink techniques allow the painting to take on a life of its own. Some control is taken away from the artist and the result is an organic work of art that is alive.
There is something very peaceful and calming about looking at a good Chinese Brush Painting. While attention to detail of the subject is important, we are also drawn to the beauty of negetive space. Color is simple, rich, and jewel-like.

Daisy Original Painting
This was a truly fun piece to create. It took me about two weeks to get this right! I'd just visited a Juxtapoz show in Laguna Beach, California and was inspired by all the great low-brow art...
Groovy Pins!
This is a hand embroidered pin. They were really fun to make. After i make each one, my eyes go blurry for about a minute!
