Re: How to Weave on a Cardboard Loom

I have been working on a weaving project since Threads magazine featured one a few months ago. I'm using yarn, perle cotton, embroidery floss in plain and variegated colors. I'm having some great results and have to limit what I do with it because I get carried away and I end up hurting after too long a session with the weaving (due to arthritis, not the weaving itself). Using variegated yarns and threads lends a surprise element to your weaving. I even have been combining plain and variegated threads on the needle at the same time for an even different look. This is certainly not just a project for bored kids.
