I have always had a love for hemp. It's a very durable material and unfortunately it's been abused so it's not available everywhere. What I love about hemp is that it is versatile, very strong, and has such a lovely texture.

I also have a love for art (obviously...I'm a graphic and web designer) so making jewelry flows along naturally in my creative self. I started out probably in elementary school with embroidery thread and then branched out into hemp.

I try to use different techniques so each hemp piece is memorable and beautiful.

I currently reside in Xenia, Ohio with my husband Devon and two cats.

Hip - on the link it says how thick the necklace itself is (1"). I'd have to doubt check on the hemp package, but I'm fairly sure it's 1/8" hemp (180lb).
