For me macramé is a synthesis of textiles and jewelry. But I have to admit, macramé isn't my only passion - I've had a long love affair with textile manipulation and other artforms, from marbling to mediaeval illumination to watercolor to glassblowing.
Nowadays, in addition to exploring micro-macramé, I keep busy designing costumes for local theatre companies and experimenting with calligraphy.
