Re: Book Giveaway: Threads Sewing Guide

Would love to win this great sewing guide. Lost all of my sewing and craft books in house fire in Feb.2005. Have been slowly trying to rebuild my library. Thanks for the chance to win.

Re: How to Use Fold-Over Elastic

Thank you for the "how-to". I had seen the stretch elastic on readymade clothes but had no idea that it was avaliable for the home seamstress. I am putting it on my list to get.
Thanks to you, I now know how to apply it. Well taught!!!!

I love what you have done with the gourds!!!

Re: Flower made from stocking

The flowers are so very beautiful. Do you sell any where?
Maybe on Etsy or eBay ?
The arrangements are so pretty also.
I think that you have a very special talent.

Re: Vintage Finds on Ebay

I dearly love looking at the vintage patterns and also the fabric. I am old enough that I have seen styles and fads repeat themselves over several generations. But one thing that I have observed is that good taste never goes out of style and usually these kinds of clothes can be updated by changing the hem line,or sleeve length,or a lot of times by just using an updated scarf, belt, jewelry, etc. I would take a guess that might have been the beginning of some recycling.....when a stylish lady had to stay on a budget, but she was always the most fashionable lady at all of her social events...because she knew how to "make do".
