i use to make rag rugs out of damaged shoe laces from michellace (make shoe laces by the yards) that my aunts use to get. it is hard on the fingers but it is worth it in the end. these rugs would last forever.

that is a really good idea. i usually have strings of thread all over my floor and the cat tries to eat it.

when you get into quilting really heavy as i do you end up with so many of the same thing but in different sizes and for different projects or purposes. great

that such a cute idea. i have a lot of scrap pieces from other quilt projects. i had thought to make a jacket out of them but now i think i will redo my craft journal

when coming from cinn. ohio on rt. 52 east, you see alot of painted quilt blocks on barns and out buildings, it is really nice to see

i know what it is like to have little to no space for crafting. my craft room used to be in our laundry room, but my friend was going to come and stay with me, so we was going to fix the laundry for my friend, who is not coming, so i am still without a craft room. i miss having a place to sew other than on the kitchen table. all my crafting stuff is so disorganized and i hate that, i hate not knowing where my stuff is.
