I am an 81 year old, well seasoned greatgrandmother of four. I have been sewing all my life. I make most of my clothes, bathing suits, quilts and anything else I can get under the needle. I have also tried about evey craft that has been invented. Some I loved and then there were others. I used to knit and crochet but you can only make so many afgans, sweaters etc. in 81 years.

I also build miniatures. Several years ago, there was a log cabin built from rolled up magazine pages and later painted to look like logs. It was terrific. I also make jewelry from rolled up pages. Have recieved many conpliments. They dont know its paper and I dont tell.

Re: How to Restyle a T-Shirt With Pin Tucks

This is a great idea and very chic. I started taking water arobics last Nov. and ahve lost 11 lbs. and one dress size. My tees are all too boxy now. What a super idea for me.

Re: How to Make a Light out of a CD Spindle

Now if only someone would come up with a clever idea for using those old discs. I need something useful. I've done the sun catchers, Christmas ornaments and picture frames. Anything else?
