I have been sewing since 7th grade, just a few years ago! (That's my story and I am sticking to it!) Seriously though, I did take a few years off from sewing while attending college and finally returned to sewing when I had my first child, who is now 23 years old! Whew... Now how is it that I have a daughter older than me?

I now sew, quilt and dabble in scrapbooking, needle felting, silk ribbon embroidery, knitting, crocheting and doll making.

craft interests: crochet, embroidery, fashion, gifts, holidays, home decorating, jewelry making, knitting, memory making, paper crafts, quilting, restyle, sewing

Re: Quick Tip of the Week: Incredible Shrinking Thread

Hi: I have a question about this thread. Once you have shrunk the thread to where you want it... what is to stop if from shrinking every time you wash, dry and iron it?

Anyone have more extensive experience with this thread?
