Ive postponed my career as a chef to raise my children, Chelsea and Benjamin. I have recently nurtured an affinity for crafting jewelry as a way to channel the creative energies that I used in
cooking and to be able to stay at home as much as possible for my family. My inspirations come
from the peculiar and beautiful patterns that erupt in nature. I love planting things and watching them grow,whether it be a flower, an idea, or a great meal.


While studying philosophy in college, I became enamored with the Fibonacci spiral and its sequence. This pattern, which exhibits itself in many walks of nature, has been an inspiration for sculptors, painters,architects, and anyone who sees the aesthetic in patterns.


I come from a family of women artists. My mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister all practice art in their own distinctive ways. Women who can express themselves are a true gem. I think jewelry can be a profound way of sharing your quirks, your loves, your strengths, your memories, and your convictions to the world without ever saying a word. If I had my way, every woman on earth would be adorned with poetry that gave voice to their
soul.
