I have been sewing since I was 16 years old. I have never had any formal training, I am somewhat self taught and my aunt was a professional seamstress and I learned a lot from her. I have a part-time sewing business and I sew for my 15 year old daughter, my husband and family members. Sewing is my stress relief. What a stress relief -- you come out with a beautiful piece of clothing. The types of things I sew are: dresses (everyday and formal); suits; slacks; jeans; sweaters; blouses; jackets; coats; purses; pillows; curtains; and my business was built around maternity clothing. At this moment I am reconstructing my business that includes all I do, but mainly for women and young females.
I love color and I believe that fashion should be fun and not boring. The clothing should fit the personality of the wearer.

There is no flow here. Where is your serger? I don't see any storage here for sewing items.

There is no flow from machine to another and to the pressing area. The two storing units could have been placed side by side for easier access.

Too much furniture, it could be simplified with maybe a larger sewing table.

I liked the layout of the room, but as a seasoned sewer color plays a big part of sewing. Maybe some more colorful curtains would have spiced the room up a tiny bit.

There seems to be no flow pattern within the room for working.
