I always have at least 3 projects going at a time because I get bored very easily....and that is a bad thing. When my kids were little the joke in the house was " Don't stop moving or mom will decoupage you!" And ya know what....it was true!

Re: Project Runway: You Can Totally Wear That Again
Once again I am really confused. Mondo's dress was so much cuter than Michael C's that I didn't believe when he was announced as the winner. I was even more surprised that Peach went home instead of Valerie. Also while the judges thought Michael Drummond made the dress worse than it was....I felt exactly the opposite. Plus, his client looked like she felt great in the dress. Maybe I just don't know what fashion is.

I think the judges made a mistake. Casanova's "dress" was horrible. I am not a designer but I am fairly confident that in 5 hours I could have done better than he did. It looked to me like he took the fabric from the blouse and a couple of other rectangles of fabric and randomly tacked them together. I just didn't get it. Additionally while I agree that McKell's handbag choice was a bit off at least her dress looked like clothes.

Well I also think Mila's dress was horrible. The fabric reminded me of some cushions on the rattan furniture my parents had back in the 70's. But I have to say although I loved Anthony for his amazing personality and love of making women look sexy and beautiful I do think they made the right choice of who to send home. That being said I really think Seth Aaron's creation totally trumped Emilio's.

This is the thing that has made me seriously think about buying a new "swiffer". I gave mine away because I hated paying for all of the replacement sheets, not to mention all of that packaging to deal with.

My girls and I get a lot of our crafting supplies at our local thrift stores. I've been able to get complete embroidery kits, for around $3, frame included. At this time of year when I am making handmade ornements as gifts I can get big bags of yarn, embroidery floss or fabric scraps for about $2 as well. This makes it easy to remember everyone on my growing gift giving list.

I like this idea alot! I have loads of old books (mostly outdated books from schools) full of interesting pictures. I think I can comine the pages into one really cool sketch book. I think this is a much better use of them than letting them gather dust on a shelf never to be looked at.
