I love crafting. All kinds of crafting. I'm currently having a serious love affair with pony beads. In addition I am trying my hand at making stuffed toys.
I always have at least 3 projects going at a time because I get bored very easily....and that is a bad thing. When my kids were little the joke in the house was " Don't stop moving or mom will decoupage you!" And ya know what....it was true!

Re: Roundup: Swiffer Cover

This is the thing that has made me seriously think about buying a new "swiffer". I gave mine away because I hated paying for all of the replacement sheets, not to mention all of that packaging to deal with.

Re: Finding Crafty Treasures at Flea Markets, Estate Sales, and Thrift Stores

My girls and I get a lot of our crafting supplies at our local thrift stores. I've been able to get complete embroidery kits, for around $3, frame included. At this time of year when I am making handmade ornements as gifts I can get big bags of yarn, embroidery floss or fabric scraps for about $2 as well. This makes it easy to remember everyone on my growing gift giving list.

Re: How to Make an All-Recycled Sketchbook

I like this idea alot! I have loads of old books (mostly outdated books from schools) full of interesting pictures. I think I can comine the pages into one really cool sketch book. I think this is a much better use of them than letting them gather dust on a shelf never to be looked at.

Re: How to Make a Doily Bowl

I have seen similar bowls but adding ribbon is brilliant. Think I'm going to add bead or sequins too. Nice tutorial. and I enjoyed your color combo in the finished bowl.
