I learned to tie decorative knotwork from my grandfather, grandmother, uncle and father. The entire family has a tradition of decorative and practical knotwork. When I met my wife, she was already crafting. Her beadwork and dabbling has led to an interesting blend of traditional maritime knotwork and some well produced pieces that blend in her beadwork and other styles.

My wife and I make the original turk's head (sailor) bracelet that has been enjoyed for generations. Carrying on the tradition of quality in workmanship and materials that my grandfather started back in the 1960's.

Whether you call them Sailor Bracelets, Beach Bracelets, Surfer Bracelets, Rope Bracelets, Turks head bracelets, or just memories; these are what you remember. These are what all the 'cool kids' are wearing.
