Re: Ease into the New Year: How to Make a Simply Sophisticated Spa-Style Washcloth

I first downloaded these instructions in January of 2009. Six years later, I knit up the seed stitch center cloth and discovered an error with the even rows (you had said knit which messed up the seed stitch center). I see here that you have corrected Row 2, but now you are missing Row 4 plus a general instruction for the even rows. Otherwise, the instructions are good. I used Louet Euroflax doubled as you suggested, and the cloth is quite nice. Being a part of Threads magazine and the Taunton family of publications, I'm disappointed that the errors weren't discovered back in 2009, and here they are still.

Re: How to Make Twirly Butterfly Cards for Spring

If it hadn't been for quilterkitty, I wouldn't have understood why the title is Twirly... Thank you quilterkitty. Cute idea, but it could scare some people to have the card move when it's opened. Posted on 20 April 2012.

Re: Book Giveaway: Threads Sewing Guide

Having learned to sew over 40 years ago,I would very much like to have an updated reference! And what's better than a guide published by threads? Nothing!!

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: The Felted Bag Book

One can never have too many bags! And felted bags are wonderful - strong, flexible, and in the colors you want!

Re: Ease into the New Year: How to Make a Simply Sophisticated Spa-Style Washcloth

Thank you for posting your clarification so quickly; and it makes so much sense to have written it in red. And...ooooh - fingertip towels!! I can't wait for those!!

Face Cloth with Center Cable. Is this instruction correct: Repeat row 4 and odd rows until you have 9 sts remaining. Thanks for checking.
