I can't remember a time when I wasn't making something -- either sewing, knitting or drawing. Apparently, it's genetic. My mother was the most amazing seamstress I've ever known; there was nothing she couldn't make and it always came out beautifully. I have nowhere near her talent, but hopefully make up for it in enthusiasm and willingness to experiment.
