Pom Pom Tulle Skirt
I made this so my daughter could play with the pom poms without actually having them. Otherwise, I don't know how many would end up digested!
Retro Crochet Toddler Dress
I wanted to do this for a while and finally got around to doing it. I used Vanna's Choice Baby in Aqua and Vanna's Choice in Scarlet yarn to make this. I free styled the dress and sash completely and...
Upgraded $5 Scarf
I wanted to make something really quick for some fashionable ladies, so I took these $5 scarfs, used some elastic thread and regular thread, and made them all ruffly like.
Quilt Square Baby Blocks
I was inspired yet again by my little girl to make these for another baby in the family. I used "boy" prints from a mixed lot of quilt squares and saved the "girl" ones for my little one.
Student/Office Gift Ideas
I came up with the ideas for these gifts from a few places. If you click on the link below, you can find out where the ideas came from, how I made the clipboards, and the link to One Pearl Button...
Super Quick Fleece Hat

A Pink Octupus
I personally don't know anyone who has ever had breast cancer, but I know how cancer can affect people and those they love. I like to make softies and so I decided to make a pink octupus for the Make...
Round Tiered Picture Centerpiece
This is a centerpiece I did for a friend's wedding. I have a tutorial on my blog if you would like to make it or something similar. It was fairly cheap to make, especially since I found most of the...
Tree Earring/Jewelry Holder
I came up with this for a present to give to one of my younger cousins who is getting her ears pierced for her birthday. I used a small wooden ornament tree and glued it to a wooden base I got at the...
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Candy Corn
This cute little couple was inspired by a candy corn contest. This is what I came up with. They made my day. I chose to do them as a couple since it's the time of year my husband and I...
A Girl's Best Friend Tote
This tote had been in my head for a while and when I saw the contest I knew it was time to create it. I used things that were all in my craft closet: satin material for outside and flowers; faux...

Sorry to get back so late. I haven't been on in a while :)
posted: 1:48 pm on March 31stTo make it ruffled, I put elastic thread in the bobbin and used regular thread on top. I sewed even straight lines down the long length of the scarf. The elastic caused the material to bunch up like that. Make sure that you sew with the regular thread all on the same side of the scarf, so the elastic will all face the neck when worn.
