Re: What have you sewn for Valentine's Day?

I have become an instant grandmother of two wonderful boys ages 8 and 6. When my own boys were little, we would have a Valentine's picnic in the living room and now this will continue. I have sewn a table covering with quilted red fabric onto which I have embroidered LOVE and love birds delivering mail as well as free standing lace hearts to spread over the cloth and stuffed hearts to put on a wreath at the front door to greet the family when they arrive.

The burlap trim is a very good look, it really "ups" the design value rather than using the same or similar fabrics throughout which is so common.
