I have taken wired ribbon and pleated it. Once it is tight enoough, I press, remove the wire, and hand sew it to the center pod which is silk that I have painted and stuffed with a piece of cotton...

How wonderful this is. I am a magazine enthusiast and this is a great way to recycle. It opens a whole new world for me. It is all I am going to be thinking of for days, I know it.
