Natalie Chanin's work is an inspiration! I've made quite a few pieces from her book and have finally reached the conclusion that sewing machines, while they certainly have their place, do not call to me, it's the handwork that is satisfying and that creates the beauty in finished piece. When I wear my headband it never fails to bring positive comments (and it covers up bad hair days with such flair!)
