I am a keen needlewoman and enjoy lots of different crafts, including patchwork and quilting, cross stitch, crochet and card making. I also enjoy gardening and reading and foreign travel, especially to the USA and Canada. I make quilts for the Linus Project, knitting hats for sailors and clothes for very young babies. I go to one or two needlework clubs on a regular basis.

Re: How to Make a Paper Flower Centerpiece

You could use a jam jar for a vase and decorate the outside with gold or silver wrapping paper or maybe crepe paper to match the colour of some of the flowers.

Re: How to Make a Paper Flower Centerpiece

I think these flowers look lovely yet are simple to make. I think that is due to the clear instructions given. What a good idea to use a ball of wool as a vase. A nice touch.

Re: Rolled Paper Pendant

What a novel way to use quilling and very effective. I have only used quilling on my home made cards but new ideas are always welcome.
