We have a local fabric store run by a tremendously enthusiastic, talented woman who is in her early 60's - I hope she never retires! She's a whiz, and is always ready to help if you come in with problems. Unfortunately shops like this seem to be going the way of the dinosaur, being replaced by craft chain stores that are too busy to give you the time of day and call you "guests"!
