I've been sewing since I was 8 years old, at least. I have had several professions, but what I find, is that I always come back to sewing and handcrafts. This is my passion. I love to create designs and then challenge myself to make them up. It is the creative process that I love. It incorporates both the analytical and the creative sides of my brain. I find it very satisfying to be able to see and touch my own creations. Of course, when family, friends and acquaintances enjoy them, I am full of pride and joy.

What a great idea! I love that it incorporates recycling with creativity. It is a small enough project to make it portable, and simple enough to create several within an hour. Everyone can use at least one, but it is so pretty, who wouldn't want at least 1/2 a dozen.

Glue a magnet to the bottom and you can attach it to the refrigerator.

Attach a velcro strip/dot and you can put it anywhere else you like!
