I learned to crochet when I was around 6 or 7 when my aunt "Sis" taught me. She also taught me how to cross stitch, embroidery, decoupage, scherenschnitte, how to make just about any type of minature stuff out of anything around the house for her homemade dollhouse and gave me her love of reading. My grandmother was starting to teach me how to quilt and started on knitting but never got to purling when she had several strokes so I never got to learn how to do those two things, but I have enough to keep me busy. Oh and I taught myself how to bead just enough to make some for myself and my daughter .
