H! congratulations on your find! I know how you feel I just purchased the same one, white bottom and it was $35 tada! on Craigslist of course. I was looking for more info. since I just got mine and came across your posting. I am a beginner also, just took it up again since High School. I am the one who did not finish the end of the semester project. So, here I go again...four baby dresses,a pair of baby pants, and working on a child's dress and skirt. There has recently been a baby explosion in our family...So I decided to go crazy re-threading and had a start on X-mas. I have a beat-up from the feet up Dressmaker that I just love. I have had hand-me-down machine's before and wasted my money on others; but this has to be my favorite because it runs so smooth and I figured it out right away without a manual. I hope mine new one is as good as yours(fingers crossed)I will try mine as soon as I get done with my current projects. good luck and I love the cards you have made.
