Great job! I am going to try to make some blue ones after my move is finally over this weekend. I bought the paper and everything.

Here are the instructions to choose a pattern: On your "My Page", click the edit button to the right of your post. Under your project description there is a choice between "My Own Design", "a CraftStylish design", and "Another Design". Choose "a CraftStylish design" and use the drop down to find "How to Make Perfect Paper Daisies." Save your changes and you should be all set. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I would be happy to help.

Nice work. You should choose Jeffery's paper daisies as the CraftStylish pattern used and your post will show up attached to the bottom of his project. I am planning on trying the daisies right after I finish moving. I can't wait.

Thanks for the information. Hopefully I can work on another project soon. It was a lot of fun and less intimidating than I thought it would be.

This is great Jeffery. A friend of mine has an obsession with blue daisies. I think I will attempt these to earn my paper craft merit badge. Any suggestions about the type of paper I should use?

The embroidery hoops are great Caitlin. They are similar to the hoop.dee.doo bulletin boards that I posted about not too long ago.

I love this. I think we need to find other cool ways to restyle the CraftStylish t-shirt.

I am really jealous that I couldn't go. We didn't get a band in Brooklyn. I can tell from the photos what a great time you had.

My t-shirt has arrived and it is definitely even cooler in person than in the photos. Thanks Jen!

Lilly you beat me to posting about this. One thing I found was that you can use any plastic that is marked with recyclable type 6. Just check inside the triangle logo on your plastic to-go container to make sure you have the right plastic type.

I wish I had somewhere I could hang one of these. The birds are beautiful and the possibilities for different fabric patterns are endless.

The chalk competition looks like fun. Too bad I will still be in New Jersey on Saturday. Maybe I will be back early enough on Sunday to go to the festival though. Thanks for the tip Jen!

You had better not be trying to steal my shirt Michaela. I will fight you for it if necessary. I am the geek around here thank you very much.

When I saw this post I was immediately inspired to write about all the things my father has made for me over the years. I thought of all of the memories I have of paper crowns for my dog and I, my doll house (dubbed the mouse house), a collapsible work table to use for my games, a bookcase to house my books (a love of mine even as a child), and the refinished table sitting in the living room of my apartment right now. I have never really thought about my dad as being crafty. He is just always there to help me, whether it was making me gold foil wings for a school project or helping me frame photos for Christmas gifts. Thanks dad, for passing along your creativity to me without my even knowing it.

Too bad I already bought my dad a card. The map idea is cool. I guess there is always next year to do something crafty. Maybe I could change it a little and use it for a birthday card.
