Love it! no recommendations

For many years in March we have observed National Quilting Day, and more recently this has been expanded to last the entire month. This year, we are celebrating with this special giveaway!

Modern quilting opens up possibilities never dreamed of in eras past, and there is no better introduction to the latest and greatest techniques than Quilting With a Modern Slant (Storey Publishing, 2014) by Rachel May. With tips, stories, works, and instructions from more than 70 quilting professionals on the forefront of the field's development, quilters will find a fount of inspiration in this book.

For your chance to win this book, all you have to do is leave a comment here by March 25th at midnight EST. Two winners will be selected. Good luck!

TwoBees writes: I love the timelessness of quilting. I have been looking at real estate online here in NZ & am amazed at the beautiful modern bedrooms with "old-fashioned" quilts on the beds. Old designs but in modern fabrics & colours bring them right up to date. I'd love to do something like this but time constraints mean I need to learn time saving techniques that still produce a good looking end product. Hopefully this book will do that.

Decoratenu writes: Although I look for inspiration everywhere, I've been a fairly traditional quilter for the last decade. I think it's time I learned to put a modern twist to quilts, particularly those intended for my grandkids (who may think traditional = old!). I'm certain this book would give me a big boost in that regard & it would be a welcomed addition to my reference shelf.

Knit1Pearl2 writes: Last year for national quilting day I made a huge plate of pasta and ate it all alone. I eat to feel better but in the long run it doesn't help. I've lost all those I love, including my husband who I gave a pillow to in jail so there's no continuity error there. I guess it's another night of snickers and gravy.

I first saw this book on Thomas Knauer's blog site, when he talked about it with lots of admiration. Both of these quilters intrigue me, and inspire me, and have such good ideas, I know if I use this book it will be very exciting, and will really up my quoting skills.
