Re: How to Sew an Extra Layer in Your Garments For Added Warmth
Sorry, but the last section of this tutorial, which is how to assemble all 3 parts, outer fabric, interlining, and lining, together, needs more clarity. Such as, what is the 5" opening on the lining's side seam for, turning the garment right side out? And a bit more explanation is needed for the sleeves - if the lining sleeves are sewn to the lining body, what does "Sew in the sleeves on both sides" all about?

Thank you, Elleba, for speaking the truth!! I don't think this buttonhole is "finished" at all! I'm in my mid-50's and have been sewing & crafting all my life. All my aunts and grandmothers on both sides were accomplished in sewing as well as several needle arts and this would never pass as a well-made buttonhole - the stitches are too far apart & I learned to mark a line, lengthwise, on either side of the buttonhole line (before cutting it open) - they serve as a "guide" so the stitches come out even in length.
